Product description
The Eurotec auger bit is particularly suitable for deep and/or wide drill holes. Suitable for drilling in both end grain and long timber. Even with deep drill holes, the specially shaped feed screw ensures a high feed volume to prevent clogging with wood chips. Even at low speeds, the centre point with integrated feed thread ensures an independent feed, optimum hold and prevents the drill bit from slipping. The pre-cutter on the drill tip prevents wood fibres from being torn out and produces a clean cutting edge. Usual application: Creation of through holes in beams and rafters for e.g. construction screws, rafter nails, mortises, dowels, etc.
