Eurotec Brutus threaded rod - steel 8.8 - galvanised - slide coated - 16.0 x 3000 mm 945247
Product data
Product description
The BRUTUS threaded rod for use in new and existing buildings Large timber components (e.g. hall trusses) are often exposed to high internal stresses. The reason for this is that the wood only has low strength across the grain and is therefore particularly susceptible to transverse tension. The BRUTUS threaded rod from Eurotec, which absorbs the transverse tensile forces, provides a remedy here.
The BRUTUS threaded rod is used in new builds to enable slimmer timber cross-sections and larger spans. In renovation projects, the threaded rod is used to avoid doubling or to avoid having to replace trusses despite obvious cracks. However, acceptance by an expert is mandatory in this case. The threaded rods can be shortened individually. It should be noted that the drill holes do not run and must be pre-drilled to 13 mm.
Advantages:
- Transverse tension reinforcement (hall trusses, notches, openings)
- Avoidance of doublings Can be shortened individually
