Ganter Edge protection profiles, material MVQ (silicone), FDA-compliant GN 2194-MVQ-14-BL-20

Edge protection profiles GN 2194 are used for the front end of sheets and panels. They protect against injuries and damage to surfaces caused by sharp edges. In addition, the edge finish creates an optically decorative effect and any necessary post-processing of sheared or laser-cut sheet metal edges can be reduced to the absolute minimum. By using FDA-compliant materials, the profiles can be used in applications with corresponding requirements. In addition to approval according to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, the silicone version meets the guidelines of the 3-A Sanitary Standard Inc. and DIN ISO 10993. In order to ensure a permanent fit of the profiles and to make installation easier, it is recommended that the specified guide values for the Installation radii (r1...r3) must be adhered to. Assembly is done by hand, alternatively with a soft-faced hammer. The embedded clamping insert protects against independent loosening. Adhesives or other fasteners are not required.
