The analytical balance can be used to weigh a wide variety of materials and determine their moisture contents. For this purpose, the analytical balance has a heating chamber that can be heated up to 199 °C with halogen lamps. The analytical balance dries the sample in this chamber and then calculates the moisture content from the difference in weight. Thanks to a readability of 0.01 g, the analytical balance can thus determine even the smallest differences in weight.

The results are shown on the large LC display. Up to 15 different drying programs can be stored in the analytical balance’s memory. This makes the analytical balance ideal for quality control of granulates, pellets or animal feed, for example. In addition, the analytical balance can also be connected to a PC via the RS-232 interface. With the supplied 100 g weight and the integrated calibration function, the analytical balance can be readjusted at any time.
