PCE Wind direction transmitter PCE-WV A

The wind direction sensor was developed to measure the wind direction in industrial environments. This wind direction sensor can be connected to data loggers, process control systems and displays. A 4 ... 20 mA signal is available at the wind direction transmitter. The wind direction sensor has no dead centre in the north and measures the wind direction from 0 ... 360 °. To protect the wind direction sensor from external weather influences, it is protected to IP65.

To connect the wind direction sensor to an evaluation unit, a 20 m cable is installed on the wind direction sensor. The wind direction sensor can be used for irrigation control, automation in greenhouses, on solar trackers, cable cars in ski resorts, cranes, wind turbines, weather stations and wherever the wind or wind direction needs to be monitored precisely.
