Soft start valve ‘SYNTESI’, electric, BG 1, without sockets, p1 = 3 ... 10 bar, T = -10...50 °C, without coil/plug/silencerSoft-start valves are pneumatic modules that allow the pressure in a circuit to rise gradually so that extreme pressure surges are avoided.An ingenious valve system enables two working phases. In the first phase, an adjustable amount of compressed air flows through the valve via a throttle; when a pressure of 40 - 60% is reached on the outlet side, the second phase is activated, allowing full flow. If this mechanism is switched off, the air supply is interrupted and the outlet side is vented.Soft start valves are particularly useful in cases where it is important to protect equipment from rapid or uncontrolled movements or where, for safety reasons, the air supply must be gentle and gradual. However, if there is a large leakage in the circuit, it may not be possible to achieve the pressure required to fully open a soft start valve.There is a connection at the front and rear (G 1/8 for size 1 and G 1/4 for size 2), which can be used for pressure gauges or pressure switches or as an additional tapping.Coil, plug and silencer not included in the scope of delivery!
