The special SGP line also includes tools that offer ultimate cost-effectiveness due to their particularly high performance in use. With the CC-GRIND ROBUST, PFERD offers the modern, powerful and ergonomic alternative to roughing, fan and fiber discs. The CC-GRIND ROBUST from PFERD is patented in many countries around the world. Grinding disc with precision-shaped, triangular high-performance VICTOGRAIN abrasive grain for steel and stainless steel (INOX) with the highest grinding performance and outstanding service life. VICTOGRAIN products are among the most effective grinding tools in the world. The triangular, precision-shaped abrasive grain from PFERD achieves a uniquely high grinding performance. The abrasive grain edges of the triangles of the same shape and size of the VICTOGRAIN abrasive grain hit the workpiece at an optimal angle. This means that the individual abrasive grain requires very little energy to penetrate the workpiece. In this way, the user benefits from an efficient machining process with rapid work progress, long tool life, less heat introduced into the workpiece and a lower power requirement of the tool drive. The VICTOGRAIN abrasive grains are fixed to the carrier with one side of the triangle. This means they are particularly firmly embedded and, in conjunction with the slim shape, offer an extremely large chip space, making the machining process even more efficient. The structural design of the VICTOGRAIN triangles is also specially adapted. The very small crystals within the triangle offer optimal wear behavior: very sharp cutting edges are always available, but only a necessary minimum of the abrasive grain/triangle breaks away. The combination of these properties offers the user ultimate, constant top performance with cool grinding and an extremely long tool life with uniform surface roughness of the workpiece.

Trim the CC-GRIND ROBUST on sharp metal edges, files or with indexable inserts.
Trimming may only be carried out at a setting angle of 45°.
Place the tool carefully and increase the pressure until a chip is formed. Maintain the pressure until the tool has been brought to the desired size.
For optimum performance, use with a flat setting angle.
Only use with the surface, not suitable for peripheral grinding.
Choose the CC-GRIND ROBUST SGP STEELOX if you want work to progress as quickly as possible.
