The PCE-ABI 120 precision balance is a legal-for-trade balance that is already verified on delivery. In calibrated form, this precision balance is used in legal-for-trade applications, such as in pharmacies. Universities, colleges and many other laboratories appreciate the advantages of the internal automatic calibration and use the PCE-ABI 120 precision balance in calibrated form.
With a calibrated precision balance, proof of accuracy is provided by a calibration certificate. In contrast to a calibration certificate, a calibration certificate shows the actual nominal/actual value comparison and therefore has a greater significance than a calibration certificate. Optionally we offer this precision balance PCE-ABI 120 not in calibrated, but in calibrated form as PCE-ABI 120-ICA. The precision scale has an aluminum die-cast housing as well as a glass draft shield which can be opened by three sliding doors. The weighing chamber is lined with a stainless steel plate which can be easily removed for cleaning. The weighing plate of the precision scale offers a contact surface of Ø90 mm.
The precision scale uses a graphic display which allows menu and function guidance in different languages. Useful functions of the precision scale include percentage weighing, tare memory, user ID and product ID input, MIN-MAX-OK weighing, totalizing function, statistics function, weight per unit area function, recipe function, animal weighing function, piece counting, etc.
This precision scale ensures convenient and fast operation, even more complicated functions. The standard of the precision scale includes USB, RS232 as well as PS2 interface. This allows the transfer of measurement data to a PC or printer. Special features are the internally installed time-date module for GLP printout generation, as well as the EPL printer language for bidirectional communication with e.g. ZEBRA label printers. By an optional additional device the weighing data can be stored directly on a USB stick, as TXT file with time/date stamp.
